Read this right after it being published - one of my favorites, moving story of the longing for unconditional being-loved that is the Heart's natural, sacred habitat.

This book is a must for every one to read especially young girls, mothers and fathers. It actually made me see the ills of poor parenting. coupled with a society that is facing continuous degradation in its value system such that conformity to societal trends leads to a deadly Godless end. Many young girls are facing quite related issues, searching for love in places they may never get it. It is a touching revealing story, that can give direction to young searching mind, heal broken hearts, and help parents and would be parent to care more about challenges young girls face.

This book is very moving. I read it quite some time ago but I remember struggling along with the main character through her journey of finding love amidst all her battles. Pick this one up. Not a typical romance for sure.

Parts of it very inspiring. Also this book addressed how religion can get to be a "social club" and hinder your Christianity.

I picked this book up at a thrift store. Not knowing what it was about, I quickly was sucked into the story of Hedy Robinson. Always looking to be accepted by her father..she never got any love from him and this is where her troubles began. Raped as a young teenager, her world becomes a living lie. She cannot tell anyone and feels trapped in her own skin. This is a true story and is told with honesty that takes a lot of courage to be so open.
