This book is how my mom and sister taught me to read! I love this book so much and my sister still has our copy from when she was little. Best for teaching children how to read. This book is a treasure.

This series was the best way to teach reading to first graders in all my years as a first grade teacher and as a Reading Specialist. There were about 10 levels so you could start the kids where they were at and then graduate them as they progressed, frequently. The program included all components - phonics, sight words, and good stories. The students flourished with this program.
