July 23rd. I'm very much interested in Dorothy Parker again. I was reading Zelda, about F.Scott Fitzgerald's wife, and dear Dorothy was mentioned. That's what set me off. This was the closest thing to a bio our library had. Small towns, grrrr. Much to my surpise, it's rather nice so far. I'm getting a short little bit of bio, which is a start and I see that coming next are some little bits about her writing. Like cliff notes but with more meat and potatoes. I like Dorothy Parker, of course more for her flaws than anything. Perfect people who never drink too much don't have books written about them do they?
