Engineering is the structured way to build career. Being in this teaching field for almost 12 years, I feel it’s my duty to contribute to build the structure. After teaching C programming related subjects for a long time, I decided to write a book on Begin C Programming which would be very much useful for C programmer and application developers. I shall try my level best to satisfy the expectations of all readers and C programmers. As a result of determination I have completed BE and ME in Computer engineering from Pune University. And now it’s time to use and chalk down the knowledge gained from my teaching and industrial experience. So I decided to put the ideas in words and make the study more interesting to the students. I am also Microsoft certified professional (MCP)in C#,IBM certified professional for Rational functional tester for java(IBM-RFT) . So I always want to be with the change and ready to accept challenges. The aim of this book is to give a clear and concise insight about the logic of Structured Programming approach using C language, including computer fundamentals like algorithms, Flowchart, basics of C programming, Data types in C, Control structures and file handling in C, Pointers used for many C applications. It should prove useful both to engineers who are working in Teaching profession or other fields of Computer engineering like software programming, software engineering and students taking computer education. The main aim of the book is to develop logic and provide the overall experience of the C programming using structured approach and their basics needed to design any C language related application. This book contains introduction of Computer fundamentals, algorithms and flowcharts, fundamentals of C programming like C character set, Operators, data input-output , control structures like branching, looping, nested control structures, functions and parameters, storage classes, array, string, structure and union data types, pointer and file handling. The feedback from colleagues and students at the stage of writing the manuscript was quite encouraging, but it was limited to close friend circles. The same is solicited from the entire teaching fraternity and the student community for further improvement of the text. Library resources are informative and encouraging for work. It is hoped that the students would find this book interesting and also meaningful to all those students who are interested in achieving the desire level of competence, not only in examinations but also in their endeavor to solve real-life problems. Critical comments and constructive suggestions for the improvements of the book are most welcome and will be highly appreciated. With Warm Regards Sudam G.Pawar
