An immigrant single mom from Brazil, Sonia, suspects foul play in the 2002 plane crash that killed the progressive U. S. Senator Paul Wellstone. Spurned by the police, she seeks help from Jake, a reserved businessman who shares none of her beliefs about Wellstone but who falls for her Latin charms. Enjoyed reading this book by John Harrigan. New author for me and he did not disappoint. Full of mystery, romance, fun characters. He also used a lot of descriptive words so you could visualize the areas where the main characters were driving into or walking.

3-1/2 stars. Good story. A little too much melodrama. I read the version titled " Fateful Flight. Lots of action for a couple of civilians.
