Jerry Todd #6

Jerry Todd and the Purring Egg

Rate this book
Jerry thought he found a real dinosaur egg worth $5,000,000, but it turned out to be a stone. Lots of thrills and chills in this book and many a good laugh.

Jerry and the boys are exploring a cave, and find what looks like a rock in a nest. They decide it is an egg, and when they hear a heartbeat in it, they scam the Cap'n into letting them use his new invention, an egg incubator.

Jerry get it into his head that it is a dodo bird egg, and the last remaining dodo bird is running Tutter. Meanwhile a mysterious humpback man is sniffing around the Cap'n's place. When the Cap'n is attacked by a mysterious "hairy ketchup bottle" Jerry thinks everyone is outto stal his million dollar dodo egg.
