I read this while working at the first school in Kenya.
I picked this up because it was at the school and I was looking for something to read. I've always found the concept of youth and community gardens to be interesting. This book really lays out how to go about starting and maintaining a community garden that is geared toward youth involvement. It also gives a ton of great ideas on how to make a garden your own and how to tailor it to your community.
As the first book I have ever read on gardening, or community gardening, I thought it was quite good. Of course, I have no basis of comparison - but I liked it!
Recommend it for those interested in community gardening, on any scale.
