Maybe this book appeals to a high-tech and knowledgeable nerd, but not me. Bear in mind that not only are the ideas in here just that: ideas (so no step-by-step to do them—good luck with that), but this book was released in 2005, so things like the Kitchen PC and Car PC seem outdated, if not unnecessary in the current world of technology. Geek House is best tailored to full-time geeks wanting to put an early 21st century electronic element into their home.
