I read this because I will be making my Confirmation into the Catholic church in a few months. You have to choose a saint for Confirmation. There are so many to choose from ,I thought I'd try this book. There are a few to choose from and well detailed information on each. I haven't chosen yet but I did enjoy the book. It was most helpful.

Brilliant update to Post's book. Cornwell's writing is fresh with a wry streak of humor. The drawings have been updated, detailed, and corrected (there were mistakes and incongruities in the original). An invaluable resource to scholars and artists alike.
