Advice on choosing a dog, and caring for a dog also provides prospective owners an invaluable resource. From Bulldogs to Dalmatians, from Terriers to Great Danes, and Shar-Peis to Dobermans, each of these breeds has in-depth information about everything to look for in a champion canine. Non-sporting breeds, working breeds, and herding breeds are all represented.

This is a good book if you want to learn more on a few breeds or if your just in to dogs. I personally read it because i was bored. It was a good inside though for a person that just knows about owning and helping care for the dogs in the household.
