This book is interesting on a lot of levels. The content is two separate and very different stories about Chinese New Year. The book is written in both Spanish and English (Spanish first, English second) with Chinese characters in the illustrations (My Chinese isn't sufficient to read them). Along with the stories, there is factual information included as well.

This book is part of a 20-title series called Chinese Children's Stories.
