However as it was completed, the illustrators she wanted were unable to be a part of it. Then a decade later, in 2021, Teresa began imagining giving this book to her daughter's former elementary teacher/librarian, Mrs. Tracey Rice when the idea came to make it a DIY ("Draw It Yourself") reading comprehension keepsake...for the young and the young at heart. Teresa Ann invites you to imagine and draw what you see as you read this precious book based on genres and teaching children about the adventurous fun of reading.
