I have to say, this review may not be entirely fair, since I only read about a third of the entire book, but I had to put it down after. While Mrs Linzer makes what I assume are a lot of good and well researched points, there are little to no sources. She's making a lot of claims that are missing the backup needed. I would keep reading if she was an endocrinologist, but the lack of sources and sudden vibe of pseudoscience (see claim of microplastics causing adhd (which there are actually studies for, but it seems to be an increased risk of 1.15-1.34 percent, the sample size started out as a little over 200 and ended up somewhere at 164-190, which is acceptable but in my opinion still not ideal) and an alternative practitioner and hypnotist recommending a "detox". ) I'm not saying anything she claims in there isn't true, because im sure she did her fair share of research, but she doesn't show it, so keep in mind to use critical thinking while reading, because some of the dangers she presents (while definetly still serious) seem to be blown out of proportion just to.
