This is a great book for those interested in learning how to make jewelry but it is not for the true beginner. There is lots of vocabulary that the author assumes is already know. Great how-to photos and plenty of gallery pictures that shows professional work. This book even covers (although in a very abbreviated way) bead stringing and precious metal clay (PMC). The ONLY thing that really bugs me is the acrylic nails of the hand model. Lol

Of the three related metal jewelry books I just checked out, this one was the second most useful for good photos and step-by-step instructions for different techniques, though all three covered more advanced work than I'm ready to tackle.

Again great book with cool ideas but not the kind of jewelry I am interested in making. Must see if you are interested in making jewelry from scratch though.
