I try to regularly read a book about preaching, especially one outside of my tradition. It was a little humorous to read suggestions for innovative preaching from 1988. I certainly have some differences with the author's view of preaching, but I still found myself moved by it at points. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one. However, I find that any book I read on preaching always makes me want to preach better.
