Not necessarily a book you would actually sit down and read, but rather one you might sit down and read around in. (Pardon my preposition.)
Walke's Quiz Book is pretty obviously meant for a Masonic audience, and he states as much in the intro, that he was invited to write this book by a Research Lodge in Iowa. There is a lot of detail and research into regularity, recognition, and the institution of Grand Lodges at the state levels. This book is meant to put to rest all of the questions, doubts, and accusations that may revolve around Prince Hall Masonry, though an enormous amount of progress has thankfully been made in the quarter century since it was penned.
Five stars not necessarily for the enjoyment of the read, but for being an excellent resource and reference that seems both navigable and reliable.
