Tommy Barnett is definitely someone that inspires anyone to do great things for God. I remember coming out of the 2005 Master’s Commission conference in Phoenix blessed by this Pastor’s words of encouragement. In the same manner Barnett blesses the reader with this book Hidden Power. If I could summarize his book in one word I would use the word giving.

In Hidden Power we learn about not only giving money, but time, energy, love, encouragement, ideas, forgiveness, blessings and all we posess, to God and others.

Tommy Barnett teaches us that as believers we should do life using God’s Kingdom Principle which “operates upside down and backwards from the natural kingdom” (p.9). For us to become a success we need to pour ourselves into others by giving what God has already given us. We should not give in order to get but give because we have already received from God (Barnett, p.36).
