Growing up Michael and his neighborhood kids loved to play baseball!

But sadly their parents banned backyard baseball because of the multiple broken windows.

So they had a problem...what's the solution?

They could "play at the park...no...it's too far."

كتاب جدا جميل اوصل الكاتب فكرته عن طريق قصه مسليه وبسيطه ليجعلنا نتعرف على العمى الادراكي وكيفية تحويل المشكلات الى حلول

يعبر الكاتب عن مشكلة العمى الادراكي و كيف اننا نغفل عن الاف الحلول التي تكون امامنا مباشرة وننشغل بالتفكير بالمشكله و عندما نركز على المشاكل فنحن نسد الطريق امام الحلول لان هناك حل واحد على الاقل لكل مشكله و لكن الامر يتطلب عقلا متفتحا لرؤيتها بذكاء و خيالا لصنعها و مجرد التفكير في الحلول الغير مرئيه يجعل المستحيل ممكنا و تذكر ان الابتكار هو اقوى قوة محركه في العالم يمكنها ان تغير الواقع

I wish this book was a picture book for a younger crowd. I found the story of the pink bat compelling and could draw the conclusions that are preached at you through the second half of the book. It is a 'motivational speech' in book form. I can see it used in sermons the world over. I would have liked it better as a stand alone story with an unstated moral for kids.

"المضرب الوردي" كتاب لغته بسيطة بمعاني كبيرة...يوقظ فينا فكرة كانت غائبة عن الكثيرين وهي (العمى الإدراكي) الذي يشرحها بمثال وقصص مشوقة..وهي اننا نركز على المشكلات فلا ندرك وجود الحلول حولها..كتاب أنصح بقراءته:)
