Rate this book
This best-selling introduction to algebra-based physics goes beyond simple numerical problem solving and the application of formulas to challenge readers to explore the basic concepts that are fundamental to understanding physics and to apply physics to their everyday activities and interests (e.g., medicine, physiology, sports, and technology). Covers electric charge and electric field; electric potential and electric energy; capacitance; electric currents; DC and AC circuits; magnetism; electromagnetism; optics; optical instruments; special Theory of Relativity; quantum mechanics; nuclear physics and radioactivity; nuclear energy; and astrophysics and cosmology. Provides problem-solving notes; careful hints; problem-solving boxes; highlighted equations; and practice problems. Features photorealistic and 3D art to help readers visualize physics at work. I can't lie, I do not enjoy this book. I have had so much trouble understanding how to solve Physics equations from this book. Amazon gives this book a better rating than "Physics by John D. Cutnell and Kenneth W. Johnson," but that's crazy talk, because I'VE READ BOTH! Cutnell's book is much better at outlining steps involved in solving real-life problems; Giancoli goes into a suffocating amount of detail about Physics, and only the Physics nerds should even open this book. Some of the chapters are better than others.

Dose anybody know the Indonesian version of this book ? I think I miss it. It has the most understandable explanation of physics that I know.
