Not only did it provide an overall timeline of the key events that occurred during WWI from start to finish, but it also gave an in-depth description and examination of all the major inventions that were made and how they were used in the war on either side. It also explained some of the strategies used by military officers, along with actual quotes from the survivors of what was perhaps one of the most tragic wars in history.
