Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your body under the control of someone else? What if that someone else was your spouse?
For their anniversary, Matt gifts his wife of two years with a little surprise she never saw coming. Soon their night on the town turns into some really erotic foreplay leading up to the main event when they get home.
It's apparent that Jenny thought she knew her husband and their sex life well enough to have thought it couldn't get much better, but it looks like Matt wants to step it up a notch. She hesitates, clearly a little uncomfortable with what he is proposing, but soon a little fantasizing of her own has her ready to try just about anything.
This story starts out reading like more of a-day-in-the-life-of Matt and Jenny, who seem to have the perfect cookie cutter two-year old marriage. Behind closed doors, however, is where we get to really see their amazing chemistry and some of the reasons why they chose each other to marry. When Matt sets up this plan to surprise his wife, what it seems he is really doing is making himself vulnerable to her rejection of the idea and possibly in some small way of him. It's obvious he wants to share this fantasy with his wife, so they can take their sex life to another level they can both enjoy. When Jenny hesitates to consider his gifts potential outcomes, what she's really doing is making herself physically vulnerable to him in a public setting and putting her trust in Matt. They take a leap of faith in they're marriage and we get to watch.
Ms. Vicks' writing flowed very well throughout the story without lingering too long in areas that shifted away from the focus of the story. The sex scenes were both sweet and erotic in nature, making this an enjoyable albeit quick read. Perhaps this will inspire some couples to find the courage to ask for a little something extra in their own married lives.

In His Hands is really well written and I truly felt as though I was a fly on the wall observing this sexy
couple’s naughty anniversary celebrations. It made me feel quite voyeuristic, quite peeping-tom, which was great and just what I like a good book to do!
The story is basically what the blurb tells you it is, but the characters are so well-rounded and so comfortable with one another that the readers instantly feels there’s more. Jenny and Matt’s shared history and their deep love lifts from the page and Ms Vicks seems to have a knack for making the prose very intimate, as though you’re sharing something very special with the characters.
The restaurant scene is great and I too was squirming on the seat and wondering who was watching them. The sex, of which there is plenty for a short story, is steaming hot, and the emotions of Jenny and Matt are beautifully articulated.
Verdict:
A great little read that has definitely tempted me to search out more by this author. If you like something loving and steamy then this is one for you.

Jenny is unsure of Matt’s present but is willing to trying anything for him to see him look at her with that hunger in his eyes that is only for her. So will Jenny have the guts to go through with Matt’s naughty night out, and can she make this an anniversary he will never forget?
Chastity Vicks is a new author to me and I have to say that I truly enjoyed her story line and the characters that she created. She made them so loveable and hot at the same time and you can really see yourself in Jenny’s shoes. Also, Chastity makes you crave to have a hot and sexy man like Matt. She is a definite must add author to your list.

It was a shorty, but then Quickies usually are. It was sweet, how much they love each other. And it was a little hot about the remote-controlled vibe thing. I guess maybe I wanted more story?
