Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

A collection of three collections of ghost stories (#1 Tales of Haunted Places, #2 Ghostly Tales on Land and Sea and #3 Tales of the Supernatural). Ghost Chronicles offers plenty of intriguing real stories of hauntings, supernatural events and ghosts and, as a big fan of true ghost stories, I enjoyed this book for what it was. My personal preference is to go deeper into just a few cases rather than be superficially acquainted with a broad range of stories, but I did find many to be very interesting and entertaining and the presentation of each case is often very well done. I would recommend this collection to any one who, like me, can't get enough of true ghost stories.

I haven't read anything about the paranormal in years but these were nice little stories.
Some stories were better than others but a good one sitting read.
