Language Hunting in The Karakoram by E.O. Lorimer wife of David Lorimer who accompanied him on his official duty to Hunza as political agent of British and the second time as research fellows in 1934-5 to study Burushaki language. This book is her effort to explain the language, customs and cultures of central Hunza. The quintessential details of Hunza society are reflected in the book which act as a primary source to our present study. The account of custom of marriages and birth of babies is an interesting aspect to compare with contemporary society of Hunza to gauge the change that whether it reconcile with its older version of customs or things have changed.
