This book is a collection of different documents that addresses issues in the past about the African-American civil rights movement. Also, the past issues connects with the present day issues that still continues and that many people are not aware of. I enjoyed reading this book, it was very engaging because although you may be familar with African American U.S. history the book creates a mood of suspense to where the reader doesnt know what may happen next. I would recommend this book to people who know little about African American history and those who enjoy reading books about interesting detailed moments in the past.
