Ancestral mezcalogy is the name I have given the cocktail collection I have created based on the combination of fruits and ingredients that depict an ancestral tradition in Mexico.
In this book, I teach you how to prepare these amazing cocktails that you can enjoy with friends, show off as a master mixologist at parties, be the perfect host and create a great conversational environment or simply, enjoy making them for you.
I start by telling you about mezcal, its origins, the worm myth, and the process to make it. I define the tools and utensils you will need, and show you how to prepare the cocktails detailing ingredients, quantities, preparation, and garnish.
About myself, I have been catering events for many years now, a little over 10 years, preparing the typical cocktails, venturing into inventing my own creations. By going back to my roots, I started to create different combinations of ingredients with mezcal, developing flavours that were typical of our ancient culture, hence the ancestral reference.
This book is dedicated to all people that love cocktails and new flavours. If I can prepare them, so can you, here, I teach you how.
