What's Wrong With My Family?: Growing Up in an Alcoholic Home

Rate this book
When I first started writing this book, I envisioned myself as the audience. Magda, at various ages between 11 and 18, growing up in an alcoholic home-not knowing what it was, what was wrong, or what to do. I felt like I was dying inside.

After I finished this book, I now believe it is for anyone who is struggling with the family disease of alcoholism and is looking for answers. Anyone who wants to know more about it, how it affects them, and how they can get help. I pray my story gives you strength, hope, and healing from this cunning, baffling, and powerful disease.

What’s Wrong With My Family? is a brave, compassionate, and deeply honest book that gives voice to a reality many children grow up living but rarely understand. Magdaline DeSousa writes with clarity and heart, helping readers, especially young ones, name what they’re experiencing and realize they’re not alone.
This book doesn’t just explain alcoholism and its impact on families; it offers hope, validation, and healing. A meaningful resource for teens, adults, and anyone affected by addiction in the home
