Mighty Dinosaurs by Rebecca L. Grambo is a children's nonfiction book that was published December 1, 2000. The intended audience for this book is younger readers between the ages nine and thirteen. This book is all about the many dinosaurs and the world that they lived in before humans took it over. I rated this book three stars because even though it is super detailed and informative, I did not think that it was all that interesting. I thought the book was very boring, I believe that it will be interesting to younger kids because of the bright illustrations. The illustrations are super detailed, so they look realistic and make the book interesting to read. Children would like this book because it teaches all about prehistoric creatures. I could use this book when working with young readers by reading it to them when we are learning about dinosaurs or the prehistoric era itself. This book would be great for a read aloud because it has a bunch of word that the children may not be able to read on their own. Students that are closer to the older of the two ages could use this book for research about dinosaurs and the prehistoric era.
