Alan Durant is the author of books for a wide age-range, from picture books such as Burger Boy to top-end teenage thrillers (Blood, Flesh and Bones). Having worked as a copywriter at Walker Books, he is now a full-time author.

He's married, with three children and lives just outside London. He does a lot of school visits throughout the UK and abroad and also runs writing workshops.

Doing the double by Alan durant. This book is fiction.

This book is about 2 brothers who are son of a football legend. They both loved football. One day, one of the brothers got injured before an important semi final so he asked his brother to fill out his spot. He asked his brother to do the double. The brother finally agreed and during the match, a lot of crazy stuff happened...

It was a pretty cool book to read. It was pretty short though. I would recommend this book to ages 9-12 and out of 10, I would rate this book an 8.
