It’s a collection of essays so it reads kind of like a textbook and is a bit dated (some essays refer to Senator Obama’s presidential campaign). Other than that, it is a good way to confront your own biases and think about opposing arguments. As I read this book, I saw very clear examples how facts often don’t really mean anything- they are just tools for a story/narrative. Sometimes two essays, one right after another, would quote the same/similar statistic and use it to come to different conclusions.

Would recommend this for college courses and students interested in public health and healthcare policy
