Bitten, shapeshifting into a werewolf, the world as Jack knows it quickly slips out of focus and when he opens his eyes, they are flashing for only one thing.
The beautiful Fera isn't safe, she needs a hero, and she may steal his heart.
The first person narrative of Jack's transformation into a werewolf by Hood - how he was kidnapped and held at Lobos Enterprises for nearly a year. His meeting with Fera is glossed over, thankfully, since that story was explained in full in the prior book, Pack City, and the story picks up with their decision to escape not just Pack City, but the control of Hood and the goons at Lobos.
An interesting read, all in all. I have quite enjoyed this series, despite the brutality and plain meanness of most of the lead characters.
