This book was originally published in 1900 and then 1915. There was a very small print run and as the Robinson family expanded over the years. There were no longer enough copies to be passed onto the next generation. Christopher D Robinson revisited the original and edited it slightly for the modern reader. This book researches the Robinson family back to the 17th Century and up to 1915, before the impact of the First world war was realised. It traces a variety of family trees with the diligence of a Victorian Man, who was the owner of Frankton Grange in Shropshire. Sadly this country house was destroyed in the 1960s, but the coach house and stables have been restored to become family homes. The original kitchen gardens can also be found buried beneath the rhododendrons, opposite the old coaching house.
