Woman of Taste: Memoirs of the Wine World

Rate this book
The author came to write about wine almost by chance when Allan Sichel took her on a buying trip to distract her from a personal grief. In this book she describes the changes that have occurred in the wine world in the 30 years since she started writing. She tells the story of her life and describes her memories of the remarkable figures that have dominated the world of wine. Pamela Vandyke Price was the first winner of the Glenfiddich Trophy and Gold Medal and has received many awards, including the Ordre du Merite Agricole. She was the first woman member of the Jurade of Saint Emilion, founded in 1199.
