Very good reading, all the basic facts, how to bathe baby, how much a newborn should eat, etc., ALL the basic facts are listed. If we ever had a question, we'd look it up here first.

This was a helpful starter book to read before having my baby!

I’m ending my second trimester and starting to look past the temporary pregnancy pains ... what happens when I actually give birth and have to take home a baby?! (I’ll be a first time mom.)

I checked this book out from the local library and found it incredibly helpful. Reading the specifics of how to diaper a baby, how newborns actually look & act and other details helped me relax. As long as I have instructions, I can do this. I appreciated the specific details and instructions provided. At this same time, it did not make me feel overwhelmed or overly anxious about what could go wrong. It was a very calming book to read. It made me want to have the baby now, so that I can start caring for her.

Only read the first 100 pages -- the section on 0-3 months. One step at a time!

This book covers a lot. It splits everything up by age of the child, making it really convenient. I got it from the library, so I only read the first few chapters because obviously the tween and teen chapters won't apply for quite a while.

Super practical, and some things that you definitely already know if you are, well, human, but lots of good advice and tips. Goes into toddlerhood, too.
