Richard Zajac , known in many circles as ""Father Duke,"" has been a staff chaplain at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo for the past 13 years. A member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, he currently serves as a member of the Certification Committee of the association. Zajac has served as a parish priest in South Buffalo and Depew, New York. He has chaired the Hospital Ethics Committee at Sisters Hospital and has been involved in the formation of the Center for Clinical Ethics and Humanities in Health Care at the University of Buffalo. He has appeared on television and has lectured extensively on the topic ""the end of life.""
