Fatal Rebounds is a fictional story about redemption and revelation, and is full of unexpected twists and turns in rebound relationships. It is also a mixture of romance, mystery, and drama. Each chapter contains unique, tantalizing events that will leave you in suspense until the very end. Guy Simmons is an intelligent and attractive young man, who yearns for glamorous and unattainable Justina Reyes. He is determined to be the man she desires, while jeopardizing the relationship with his best friend, Regine. He soon realizes he may have made the biggest mistake of his life, so his stepmother, Jeanine Benedict, indiscreetly intervenes to help him get his life back on track. However, Regine's estranged father, Kevin Graham, seeks vindication for the pain and heartache Regine suffered because of Guy. Will Guy ignore the red flags and become object of Justina's desires; or will he put himself in harm's way to pursue Regine, the woman that truly loves him? Regine Croswell realizes her dream of being with Guy is in jeopardy after her best friend, Justina, enters the equation. She fears Justina is an incessant threat, and attempts to warn Guy that Justina is a selfish gold-digger. Regine moves on with her life by dating other men, but things go awry when her Grandmother, Bessie, and estranged biological parents, Kevin Graham and Sue Croswell, take drastic measures to protect her from the likes of Paul "PJ" James, Samuel White, and Earl Banks. Will Regine end up with the man she truly loves; or will she become the victim of - the ultimate betrayal? Justina Reyes finds herself in a precarious situation. She is used to getting her own way, at anyone's expense, including double-crossing her best friend, Regine. Her parents try to get her to see the error of her ways, without success. When Justina finally falls in love with 'too-good-to-be-true attorney, ' Calvin Calloway, her world spirals out of control and her callous ways come back to haunt her. Will Justina learn from her past mistakes and change; or will she succumb to the inevitable - a fatal destiny? Once Pandora's Box is open, the lives of Guy, Regine, and Justina begin to unravel. Over a ten-year span, they all discover more than they bargained for, including the fatal consequences of rebounding. Who will survive?

Part I “Fatal Rebounds” is the flagship of this Fatal Trilogy journey. It is a fictional story about redemption, revelation and is full of unexpected twists and turns in rebound relationships. It is also an adventurous mixture of romance, mystery, and drama. The main events revolve around three main characters as they mature from their late teens through adulthood. The question of 'Who will survive?' will cement you in suspense until the very end.

Guy Simmons is an intelligent and attractive young man, who yearns for a Halle Barry look-alike, Justina Reyes. He is determined to be the man she desires. During his pursuit he jeopardizes his relationship with best friend, Regine, but soon realizes he may have made the biggest mistake of his life. Will he find himself in his father's shoes?

Regine Croswell realizes her long held dream of being with Guy is in jeopardy after her supposed best friend, Justina, enters the equation. She fears Justina will always be an incessant threat. She tries to warn Guy that Justina is a selfish gold-digger, but he does not take heed. She goes on with her life and encounters unexpected revelations along the way. Will she end up with the man she truly loves, or will she become the victim of an ultimate betrayal?

Fatal Rebounds by Dorothy J Morris is an entertaining story of young love. Guy Simmons is a devoted brother who takes care of his siblings when their parents die in a car wreck. Guy is also in lust with the popular girl of his school named Justina Reyes. Guy is so determined to win Justina’s love that he neglects the signs of his soul mate that are staring him in the face.

Justina is a spoiled brat that loves to get her way and by any means necessary. Justina does not care about hurt feelings or stepping on toes as long as she gets what she wants. She also continues ignoring Guy’s pursuit until his eyes start wandering in a different direction.

Regine Croswell has been a good friend to both Guy and Justina. Regine has listened to Justina’s complaints and has put up with Guy’s continuous fawning over Justina. Regine does have a breaking point and once she reaches it she decides to move away. However, even though Regine has moved on her love for Guy is unmistakable, will she accept him if he comes to his senses?

Fatal Rebounds was a suspenseful story that had a mystery element that was very exciting and kept me turning the pages. However, I do believe the story was drawn out and at times I felt there were too many twists and turns. I look forward to the next installment in this series and I do recommend this book to others.

This was definitively a page turner. Absolutely full of drama it should have been named "Fatal Scandals". Don't want to go into details because there were many characters. I really did not like Justina at all. I won't say that she got what she deserved because I wouldn't wish all of the hardship that she experienced on my worst enemy, she was ruthless and did some horrible things to Regine. I was so happy with Guy taking the responsibility of raising his brother and twin sisters after their parents died. So glad that Guy realized that he really did love Regine was able to get her back and married her. There was a lot that happen in this story, but I really did enjoy this book. Can't wait to read "Fatal Vengeance".
