واع... واع... هكذا تستيقظ مرمر دائماً كل صباح، صوتها، يصرع الآذان، وهي تبكي، تريد الخروج من سريرها المرتفع، وبعد نزولها بمساعدة ماما تبدأ باللعب وبتكسير الأواني وليس هذا كل شيء بل إنها في أحيان كثيرة تتخطى حدود المنزا وتصعد السلالم المؤدية إلى بيت الجيران وهذا بالتأكيد له عواقب وخيمة لمرمر.

- Author of many children’s books for different age groups: (2-5), (5-7), and (7-10)
- Manager of Al Hadaek Publishing House; a Lebanese publishing house specialized in Arabic children’s books and magazines since 1987
- Previous editor-in-chief of two children’s magazines: “Touta Touta” (4+) and “Ahmad” (7+)
- Till now, Dr. Mheidly has written more than 75 Arabic books for children, conducted reading lectures at several universities in Lebanon, and hosted many workshops in Lebanon and the Arab world.
