The Democratic Republic of Congo is a book written by Terri Willis. It is a non fiction book that uses advanced language structure. The summary of this book is a very detailed description of the DRC. There are no illustrations, but there are real life pictures in the book. The book describes many different cultual aspects of the country and it is very informational. I believe that the age group would be fifth grade. I am not sure if the students would enjoy the book, but they will recieve a lot of information about the country.

A good overview of the history and culture of the DRC... up to 2004. So not as current as I would have liked, but still pretty thorough, if a little dry.
