The cover of this book is hilarious. It fits with the time period in which it was published, the 80s. I don't have much personal experience with that era, but I can feel/read the difference between a book that is timeless and always applicable, and one that is defined in large part by its age. That being said, although this book reads like a woodgie text written in the 80s, it does have a fair bit of useful information that is fully grounded in aspects of Chinese and Indian traditional healing modalities. For this, I can say that I was able to sort the good bits from the not-so-good. I say read it, but be aware of the salt grains.
