I thought about giving this only 4 stars because each "rule" is covered simply in just a few pages (not earthshaking content), BUT they're all so important!

I decided to go with 5 stars because it presents exactly what it claims to offer in a succinct and engaging way. This would be a great gift for college or high school graduates, but I appreciated it in my thirties also... I read one rule a day, but the foreword suggests reading one a week for a year - I could see that being worthwhile if you make sure to keep the rule where you'll be reminded of it daily for a full week of focus/practice.

Fifty-two practical rules that seem to simple to need to be written down, but they are good to have brought to our attention from time-to-time.

some are:

Learn to concentrate, think long term, be quiet, pray, give money, give time, give yhoureslf, what NOT to do, treat people well, be available, disagree agreeably, call back, work hard, make lists, do what you say you'll do, finish

Great! Read it within a day, easily digestible and useful principles with a nice Christian undertone, a great blend. I will refer back to it often.
