Backgammon

Rate this book
Backgammon is the story of two lifelong friends and their path to forgiveness. It is an engaging, wickedly beautiful journey through the great successes and devastating accidents of life through the eyes of one who has seen it all, but is still looking - looking to reclaim a piece of something precious that was lost to him years ago while in the hands of his best friend. Backgammon was the tortoise's life. It was not just the simple game itself that enamored him, but his opponents and the insights he gained from playing with them. Success, much like life, hinges on the luck of the roll. Once the basics have been mastered, the moves one makes cannot be undone and they change the entire course of the game.

wow excellent

Somehow this is abstract and philosophical… more than a fable or myth… it is also political somehow! I really loved this book, and it was PSYCHOLOGICAL for me, too !!! Magnificent!
