After reading Gravity, I was able to enlighten myself on the topics of gravity. I love how bright and colorful the pages are to bring the reader's attention to the book. Each text ahs a subtitle on the top of words that will help the reader better understand how gravity works on Earth. There are little thought bubbles that incorporate important information related to the topic of the page. The illustrator incorporated real life images of the earth, sun, and space. There are also graphs that give you data to help understand the weight and time period of events. Incorporating famous scientists with their picture will allow the reader to put a face to the name. I love how they have added engaging questions throughout the book. This would be a good reading for students to read on their own time, as well as a teacher reading a read aloud because this is important information to provide. By incorporating Newton's laws with images and definitions, it will allow the students to better understand the information and it will stick longer with them. finally, in the back of the book includes a pop quiz to assess the readers knowledge. As an activity, we will be using matter to weigh objects and drop objects so we can define gravity and the forces used.
