A great book to understand the financial documents from an investors point of view.
This was the textbook for my Accounting 101 class, and I recommend to everyone to read this before getting into the stock market. Illustrated how different Wall Street is from actually investing in a company.

I had to read this for my Financial Accounting class. The way they relate each chapter to a well known company and their balance sheet makes this text a lot less dry than if they just used made up companies as examples.
