I really like the idea behind this book. The illustrations are bright and cheerful and the book is lyrically written for children to enjoy, and not only once but over and over again. However, I think this book has the potential to be a great children's book if the illustrations were more varied. Each character has its one illustration. I'd rather have seen the character in the act of the author's words. The words provide for some great and silly illustrations that definitely would enhance the book.
