Cupcake Nation

Rate this book
Jake Wellington is owner to one of Los Angeles' most well attended bakeries and has the "social" life to prove it. And while he certainly enjoys the perks, being a Most Eligible Bachelor isn't everything. Enter former lover, Ellie Calder, a woman with a plan. She's offered to help expand the company into something even bigger. Something huge. Yet despite a pretty convincing argument, particularly as it's coming from someone he's already slept with, he's just a little suspicous. She might turn out to be one of the rare local a late-blooming kook. Cupcake Nation is a satire for foodies that ever so gently skewers entertainment media, West Coast affluence, trends and power love affairs. And yet, it is also a portrait of a sweet man, his faithful staff and most importantly his love of a tasty, mouthwatering cupcake. Yummmmm.
