It’s no secret that I am a HUGE tea lover, and while I know tea is an international drink, I had no idea of the history, as well as the healing and religious, sacred purposes tea has all over the world. I’m now adding to my bucket list my dream trip to taste tea in Japan, China, India, England, Africa, etc. Plus, this beautiful coffee table-sized book with be a great addition to my dream home!

Good overview of the history, art and delights of tea. Tea is so much more than a Lipton tea bag and this book makes that clear.

Remarkably well organized I found this book seamlessly pours the knowledge of tea into the reader, striking that difficult balance between information and the reader’s capacity for detail ... making this book intellectually a pleasure.
