It was a time of no mass-affordable visual recording, no internet, no mass travelling.
It was a time COVID-saveignors are vigorously pushing us back recently.
That is why Ripley's travel dairies of the thirties last century are of infinite worth generationally.
Itself, a volume is a pleasure both contextually and visually, very special book.

Amazing surreal and unbelievable FACTS, this book will do wonders to your head, it's indescribable in a good way, had so much intense awesome facts that will blow your mind, it's absolutely worth it ,yet It took me time to finish it, coz it's a bit too boring and way over my age

I expected it to be like all the other Ripleys books, but it wasn't. I like though that it had pop-up pictures and flaps to read.
