This book is a biography about Shaun White. This is about has family and where he grew up. Also, it tells how he tried out surfing but didn't like it too much then tried snowboading and enjoyed it enough that he has continued. He also took interest in skateboarding and started competing. It tell about the olympic games and that he went in 2006 to Italy and competed in the halfpipe and recieved a gold medal and also a gold medal in 2010 in Vancouver. It also tells about he goes on many interviews and also has a snapshot of his name, birthday, birthplace. The artistic elements in this book are very good. It has many different pictures of Shaun White that coorespond with the text on the page. If children want to know about Shaun White I would strongly recommend this book to them because it gives good information about him.
