About the author

The macabre humor and Gothic settings characterized many cartoons, first apparent in the New Yorker, of known American cartoonist Charles Samuel Addams.

Chas Addams best created "The Addams Family" comic characters, adapted for a variety of media. His signature style involved single panels.

Recull d’acudits publicats al ‘New Yorker’ sobre el Museu Guggenheim de Nova York. Les vinyetes estan publicades en ordre cronòlogic i comencen amb els comentaris de les persones que observen amb estupor l’estranya construcció de l’arquitecte Frank Lloyd Wight. Els dibuixos (vinyetes i portades) alternen amb fotografies de l’edifici de diversos autors. El llibre acaba amb una fotografia del Guggenheim de Bilbao de Frank Gehry i un acudit del ‘New Yorker’ on un gat es riu de la caseta del gos feta a l’estil de l’arquitecte i el gos que exclama que els gats no saben apreciar Frank Gehry.
