Poor Miss Jane Thomas. Her book has duplicate listings on Goodreads, but no reviews. This will only be of interest to those readers interested in Nashville history, and the majority of the book is a listing of who married who, and how many children they had, if any. The Civil War is only briefly covered here. Too bad. Miss Jane comes across as a character, and while the book flap blurg characterizes her as “being of a gossipy nature…and not afraid of slander”, there is little tea spilled here on these pages.
