Life changing. This is a must-read. The books title should be prefaced with the words, "Images are the...." to form the complete sentence, "Images are the alphabet of the imagination." That's pretty profound, isn't it?

The essay "Witch Door" changed forever the way I view the cross, the sun, and pagans in general. (Mr. Goddard, BTW, was a Christian and a well-known Shakespeare scholar." The collection's first essay is about nothing less than the antidote to war: fusion versus fission. Goddard explicates the paradox in Christ's parable about the Olive Tree that didn't bloom out of season (you read that right), by extolling the virtues of phreakdom. Excellent, excellent stuff.
